When buying a condo or townhouse most of your equity is in the building envelope. The building's exterior systems including the roof, siding, and foundation can pose a significant expense to owners when in need of repairs.
We will give the interior of the unit a through inspection as well as inspect the exterior, roof, underground parking, the mechanical room and meter room (if access is allowed). We will read engineering reports, depreciation reports, and any other building reports available.
The inspection of the Strata unit typically lasts 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours and includes a walk through presentation at the end so you will have a good understanding of the property and we can answer any questions you may have.
By the time you leave you will have a good understand of the condition of the building and unit and you will be able to make a confident decision based on the facts.
